R13, very much inspired by history and America’s rebellious soul, launched its first jeans collection in New York in 2009. R13’s emblem is represented by the famous Gadsden flag, upon which there is a snake with 13 rattles and the slogan “Don't tread on me,” symbol of the New York label’s rock ‘n roll spirit, which celebrities such as Kate Moss and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley so love. Essentially made in Italy, the canvas itself comes from Turkey and Japan. With skinny cuts, androgynous looks and deconstructed shorts… R13 reinvents denim and distinguishes itself through its search for authenticity, which is conveyed through naturally cool silhouettes.
