Sara Beltràn, founder and creator of Dezso, was born in Mexico and has had a passion for the ocean since she was very young. She began her career as a stylist in New York until photographer Bruce Weber noticed her necklaces and ordered a few to accessorize his clothing collection. Thus Dezso, which means desire in Latin, was born. All of her jewelry is linked to her love for the ocean and many of her creations contain shells that Sara Beltràn found on beaches all over the world, particularly that in Tulum. Her collections highlight the beauty of polki diamonds, seashells, fossilized shark’s teeth and cyanite, always paired with colors reflecting the ocean.
