The brand Selim Mouzannar is made by Selim Mouzannar himself. The designer, born in 1963, comes from a family of jewelers and suppliers of the Ottoman Empire since the 19th century. As a child, he spent time in his father's studio in the heart of Beirut's historic jewelry souks. His works are dictated by light, color and movement, which evoke his Eastern Mediterranean, the night in Beirut and the green forests of his country. He likes to talk about his studio in Achrafieh as a laboratory place where he can, from the historical savoir-faire of the brand, experiment with new stones, new sizes and new materials.
